Edible Perfume: Yes Perfume That You Can Actually Eat!

According to foodanddrinkeurope.com, the manufacturer Alpi Deo Perfume Candy claims that their sweet candy treats, Deo Perfume Candy, sweeten the mouth and the body.

Alpi Deo Perfume said, "When the sweets are consumed, the skin emits rose oil components contained in the confectionery product in the form of an ingredient called geraniol." Geraniol, a natural substance found in many essential oils, including rose oil, citronella and lemon. Geraniol, like garlic, contains chemicals that can't be digested and are released through the skin's pores, producing a light rosy scent that supposedly lasts for hours (NYdailynews.com).

Smelling like roses by eating a piece of candy seems pretty much like the perfect combination. Not sure how safe the product is, but it definitely caught my attention.
